POSITION OVERVIEW 

Fidelity National Financial, Inc. (NYSE: FNF) is seeking a Title Examiner for Florida Title Production.  FNF is a leading provider of title insurance and transaction services to the real estate and mortgage industries. FNF is the nation's largest title insurance company through its title insurance underwriters - Fidelity National Title, Chicago Title, Commonwealth Land Title, Alamo Title and National Title of New York - that collectively issue more title insurance policies than any other title company in the United States. LOCATION 

This position is hybrid based in Maitland, FL. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Searching and Examining. 

  • Use our Title plant and our Production software to create title packages and reports. 

  • Work with our offshore team. 

  • Customer service. 

  • Search our title plant and public records for legal documents related to property. 

  • Examine those documents for validity and accuracy. 

  • Prepare reports that outline actions needed to clear title. 

  • Report any defects or discrepancies in the title chain. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent. 

  • 3-5 years of Florida Title Search and Exam. 

  • Knowledge and understanding of Foreclosures, Probates and Bankruptcy and how those affect title. 

  • Experience with Title Point and Title Wave a plus, but not necessary. 

  • Good computer and typing skills. 

  • Must be able to meet productivity goals and turn times. 

  • Detail Oriented.
