Head, School of IT

Ourclient is a well-established private education group with multi-campus presencein Malaysia.

• Overseeand coordinate teaching, services and activities for the School of IT (SoIT)and academic affairs development for all relevant departments.
  
• Assistthe Dean of Faculty to plan, coordinate and develop business developmentactivities through market and industrial research, analysis of the workplacesystems and information system design and derive relevant projects to improvethe student population growth for the School of IT.
  
• Workclosely with the Marketing team on the smart partnership, projects, seminarsand forums and etc.
  
• Responsiblefor programmes development, financial and profitability of the SOIT programmes.
  
  

Requirements

• Possessa Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD in Information Technology (IT) or IT-relateddisciplines, such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity,Data Science, or other relevant IT fields.
  
• Minimum5–7 years of working and/or teaching experience, preferably in highereducation, including experience in an academic or managerial position.
  
• Strongknowledge and expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and/or DataScience, supported by relevant specialisation and/or industry experience.
  
• Familiaritywith the Malaysian higher education landscape and MQA requirements ispreferred.
  
• Stronginterpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectivelycommunicate with people at all levels.
  
• Abilityto manage lecturers, support staff, students and parents.
  
• Strongcommand in written and spoken English.
