Festivals From India is hiring on behalf of their client, ASIGN, for a Sales & Adoption Specialist in Chennai, who will help them grow ASIGN’s presence across the art ecosystem. 

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys talking to people, discovering opportunities, building relationships, and getting things done. You will work directly with artists, galleries, collectors, clients, and internal teams to drive platform adoption and create opportunities for art sales.

Please note:

  1. The vetting process for this role comprises 2-3 rounds of interviews and may be followed by a brief assignment.
  2. Festivals From India is hiring for this role on behalf of their client, ASIGN. 
  3. This is an on-site, full-time position based in Chennai.
  4. The salary band for this role is available upon request.


Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Literature, Mass Communication, Business, Art History, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional experience may be considered in place of a directly related degree.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Excel/Google Sheets, CRM and project-management/tracking tools.
  • Comfortable learning and working with new software platforms and digital tools.

Essential Experience:
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, client servicing, project management, partnerships, art, galleries, cultural organisations, or a related field.
  • Experience in client management, partnerships, sales opportunities or project coordination.
  • Experience working with artists, galleries, collectors, luxury brands, design or other creative industries is an advantage.
  • Startup or entrepreneurial experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders, opportunities and deadlines independently.
